I am not a big fan of shooters, but I downloaded this game. And I even played a little - an hour or an hour and a half. I didn't have the nerves for more - it's not very exciting when you are torn apart by bots' shots every half minute. Actually, that's why I don't like shooters - everything happens too fast there.
For those who like such games for fun, Nexuiz will be to their taste. Especially since there are literally one or two free games of such quality. Especially since shopify website design you can play it online. Especially since (at least where I live) computer clubs have started to require licenses for all paid games installed there…
Nexuiz is, as I said above, a dynamic and perfectly balanced free 3D shooter with slightly cut down (for better performance) graphics. Nexuiz uses a heavily modified version of the legendary Quake 1 engine called Darkplaces Engine as its engine.
The first version of Nexuiz was released in 2005. Today, this game has version 2.4 and a huge army of fans all over the world. Not least of all, this is due to the passion of the developers of this game for their business. After all, as we know, the best products are born from those who truly love what they do.
Nexuiz is primarily recommended for team play. The client interface has a server browser built in where you can connect and play against “real” people. There is also a single-player mode that has 20 levels with different location designs.
Despite the declared minimalism, the graphic component of the game is not bad at all, and if you compare it with its ancestor (Quake 1), it is generally wonderful. At the same time, it is possible to disable some of the special effects when using on old equipment.
In general, Nexuiz is not demanding on the hardware part of the system. To use all the features of the game, you need a computer with a 1.5 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 1500+ processor and half a gigabyte of RAM. In this case, the game will use 400 MB of space on the hard drive. As for the operating system, Nexuiz is also not picky - there are versions for Windows 2000 / XP / Vista (32/64-bit) as well as for Mac OS X and Linux.
